There's not a whole lot of things better than a long weekend, especially a sunny one. The weekend feels SO much longer, and the working week always feels SO much shorter. The other thing that I love about long weekends is that you can go out on Sunday night and not have to worry about getting up the next morning. It also makes church much more enjoyable without the same worry.
Yesterday Thea spent most of the day shopping with our flatmate Sash, and bought a couple of dresses and some tops. I borrowed my ministers seriously cool bike and went for a ride around Richmond Park, which is massive (about 1000 hectares) and has deer running around in it. It was lovely.
Also, it seems that the tables have turned, and London is consistantly warmer than Sydney now. The pic below shows the weather for the next 5 days. Today was the first day this year that I didn't wear my overcoat to work either. Exciting times...
